Friday, July 9, 2010:
- 3:00-5:30 pm Packet pickup at Kidd Brewer Stadium, under the bleachers (East side), Appalachian State University, Boone, NC and GMM Store opens . I shut down and move to the ASU cafeteria at 6 pm !
- 6:30 pm Pre-race Pasta Feast (fee) and Marathon Clinic/questions&answers at ASU cafeteria
Saturday, July 10, 2010:
- 5:00-6:15 am Packet pickup at Kidd Brewer Stadium, under the bleachers EAST side), Appalachian State University, Boone, NC
- 6:00 am Support crew meeting at Stadium entrance gate for last minute instructions
- 6:20 am All runners report to start line on the track
- 6:30 am Race start on the track (NO Early Starts !)
- 12:00 noon Race officially completes (finish at the track closes and an unofficial finish at the marathon tent opens)
- 12:45 pm Awards and race results at the marathon tent just inside Gate 3
- 1:00 pm Marathon officially ends
- 1:15 pm Top 3 overall males and females presented at the Highland Games
- 3:00 pm If you plan to take the shuttle all the way back to the start line. You must be back to the Boone Shuttle area by 3 pm !
- 2:00-5:00 pm You must be checked out of the dorm by 5 pm !
