Since lodging can be difficult to find around Boone and Linville due to the Highland Games and the general mountain tourism, we came up with a great idea in 2005 to help runners with lodging. We have limited dorm space right at the marathon start. We had great feedback last year on the convenience. And the price is far cheaper than the local hotels during this peak season.

Enjoy the comradery of your fellow runners, re-live those college dorm days, get a few extra winks the morning of the race !

You will have to check in on Friday from 3:00 - 6:00 pm during packet pick-up. You will have to check out by 5:00 p.m. Saturday.

Rooms are $45 per person double occupancy or $75 per night for a semi-private (sharing a bathroom). The cost includes linens, towels, pillow. If you would like to share a room, please come together at packet pickup. Otherwise, rooms will be assigned random based on gender. A spouse or friend is an additional $45.
