AWARDS: All FINISHERS who finish the race by 1 pm will receive a Commemorative Grandfather Mountain Marathon Medal. Awards will be presented at the marathon tent (just inside gate 3) at 1:15 pm to the top 5 male and female finishers. Overall Masters (40+) awards will be given to a male and female. Overall winners and Masters will be displaced from the age group awards. The Highland Games will have overall awards to the top 3 winners in both male and female races. The age group awards will be presented to the top 3 in each age group 29 and under, 30-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-59 and 60+. These are subject to change based on the race director's discretion. You must be present to receive awards (they will not be mailed out !!!!!). In addition, we will crown the King and Queen of the Mountain (the overall Male and Female who complete the BEAR, GRIZZLY, and GMM); Winners are based on cumulative time in all three events.
